My Best Friends’ Daughter

The story

His best friend asks him to keep his adult daughter away from the wrong kind of men. He never expected to be the wrong man himself.

Why it’s hot

A promise is the most fragile thing in this story. The friendship between the two men is what is really on the line, which makes every step feel heavier.

Who it suits

A trust-betrayal story from the older friend's side. Good if forbidden loyalty is your angle.

Where it sits in the catalogue

Five episodes is the house length on Candy AI: 172 of the 184 series with a public list run exactly that long, so this one is a single-night watch. Finishing it costs 36 tokens, which one Premium month of 100 tokens covers with 64 to spare. Candy AI files it under Maid (5 series) and Taboo (78 series).

If you liked the setup

• Room Service: Five years married, the same hotel every anniversary, and his wife takes twenty-minute showers. The room service staff have figured that out.
• The King’s Chambermaid: Trapped in a loveless royal match, a king falls for the kitchen girl who dresses him at dawn. The queen hears everything in that castle, and the girl wants more than a place in his bed.
• The Maid My Wife Hired: A wife books a young housekeeper and heads off to the office. For eleven hours a day the house holds just the two of them, and cleaning is not how they fill the time.
